Eno Peci

Eno Peci was born in Tirana, Albania. He received his training at the Ballet Academy in Tirana and at the Vienna State Opera Ballet School (Balletschule der Wiener Staatsoper). He became a member of the Wiener Staatsopernballet (Vienna State Opera Ballet) in 2000, advanced to a demi-soloist in 2003, and was named in 2009 a Solo Dancer at the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera) and Volksoper (Vienna People's Opera).
Among his most important roles are the title roles in John Cranko's "Onegin," Renato Zanella's "Spartacus," and Ivan Cavallari's "Tschaikowski Impressionen," Redbeard, Companion of the Prince and Polish Dancer in Rudolf Nureyev's "Schwanensee," Puss in Boots and Pas de quatre in Peter Wright's "Dornröschen," Hungarian Police Sergeant and Bridegroom in "Coppélia" by Gyula Harangozó Sr., Ulrich in Roland Petit's "Die Fledermaus," Tybalt in John Cranko's "Romeo and Juliet," Lenski in Cranko's "Onegin," Lescaut in Kenneth MacMillan's "Manon," Colonel "Bay" Middleton in MacMillan's "Mayerling," Touchstone in John Neumeier's "As you like it," Karenin in Boris Eifman's "Anna Karenina," Drosselmeyer in Gyula Harangozó's "Der Nussknacker," J.S. Jr., Mr. Querra, Autumn, and jewels in Zanella's "Aschenbrödel," Baron Max von Drosselberg and The Italian in Zanella's "Der Nussknacker," Soldier in Jo Strømgren's "Nussknacker," Miller in Léonide Massine's "Der Dreispitz," Willi in Zanella's "Kadettenball," Gigerl in "Platzkonzert" by Gyula Harangozó Sr., as well as parts in Jirí Kylián's "Petite Mort," William Forsythe's "Slingerland pas de deux," Zanella's "Empty Place," "Konzertantes Duo," "Voyage," "Sacre," "Alles Walzer" and "Bolero," and Ben van Cauwenbergh's "Tanzhommage an Queen", Jorma Elos "Glow – Stop" und András Lukács' "In Your Eyes My Face Remains." He created the title role in Zanella's "Petruschka." Other roles he created are David in Zanella's "Spartacus" as well as parts in Zanella's "Sensi" and "Duke's Nuts," and in Patrick C. Delcroix's "Silence sans reproche."
He has given guest performances in Kazakhstan, Italy, and Russia.
Additionally, he was awarded the title of "Honorary Ambassador" of the Republic of Albania (2008).
